What can you do to increase your customer outreach and education? Here are just a few ways Be Car Care Aware can help:
Interact with us on Social Media. Join us on Twitter (@becarecaraware) and our Facebook page, Be Car Care Aware. You can share our car care tips, promote your upcoming car check events and stay on top of new program developments.
Sponsor the program. Be Car Care Aware sponsors are promoted on our social media, have access to valuable market research data and are recognized in a myriad of ways throughout the year. Visit our sponsorship page to learn more
Join the two seasonal campaigns. Both Car Care Month (May) and Car Safety Month (October) are targeted times of the year when Be Car Care Aware increases its public awareness messaging through articles, advertising in both mainstream media and trade press and press releases. You can share our resources, hold a special for Car Care Month, or use our article library with some individualized quotes or information about your business and send it to your local community newspaper.
Use our resources and promotional materials. BCCA has developed a myriad of resources you can use in your business with branding opportunities. From posters and articles to put in your waiting room, to counter maps and brochures to hand out with invoices, all are available in our e-store. Let your customers know you are committed to educating them about vehicle service and maintenance – you can put a BCCA decal in your shop window and have matching name badges for your technicians.
Distribute our Car Care Guide. Available in English and French, this comprehensive Guide is a supplement to the manufacturer car owner manual. Sponsors can also request to have copies of the Guide branded with their logo.
Host an event. Whether it is a car check event or a “get to know your vehicle” information session for your customers, it is an opportunity to interact, build a relationship and establish trust with customers and potential clientele.
Explore the website. The BCCA website is designed to be a resource for both you and your customers. Use our article or news release sections to provide information to your customers or the media or the photo gallery and the BCCA logo for graphics for your promotional pieces or advertising, and stay informed on new BCCA programs. Many of the resources are free or available at a low cost.
